The NTS NanoDirect Series with up to 100mm Travel
NTS NanoDirect describes a series of novel long-travel distance
piezoelectric linear nanopositioning systems that bring together a
combination of exceptional quality and unique design features. Each
system comprises of a precisely engineered nanopositioning stage (the
NTS series) and a technologically advanced digital signal processor (DSP)
controller (the NanoDirect).
Modern Design Architecture Unmatched Performance
NTS stages combine an unprecedented design resolution of less
than 1 nm with exceptional long-travel range: 10 mm, 25 mm and 100 mm (Models
NTS10, NTS25 and NTS100). Unlike traditional motorized
nanopositioning stages, which rely on DC servo or stepper motor
technology, the NTS stages incorporate a proprietary non-electromagnetic
piezoelectric rotary motor under direct DSP control.
